Who We Are
EAOHAWAII is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) Native Hawaiian Organization (NHO) and community service organization whose business activities principally benefit Native Hawaiians. As an NHO we operate under U. S. Small Business Administration (SBA) regulations and own small businesses that participate in the SBA 8(a) Business Development Program.
Profits from EAOHAWAII for-profit subsidiaries help sustain important education, social, economic, and cultural preservation programs that serve Native Hawaiians across Hawaiʻi and the continental U.S. As educational organization we currently provide Native Hawaiian education in-person and virtual educational services to keep our ʻohana connected between Hawaiʻi and the continental United States.
It is known that the Waianae coast, Oahu has the highest per capita percentage of Native Hawaiians in the world and the highest poverty and unemployment rate in the State of Hawaii.
EAOHAWAII is a member of the Native Hawaiian Organization Association (NHOA). For more information about NHOs visit the NHOA website.
We build cultural based educational opportunities for the next generation
We believe that ʻOhana (families) in our Hawai`i community are seeking educational opportunities for their keiki and ʻohana that are rooted in the Native Hawaiian culture and based on Native Hawaiian traditional values. E komo mai (Support Hawaiian Education and join our community)
